The Summer ends in Paris
Yesterday was the last day of the Paris Fashion Week, and to those of us who love fashion, we have endulged ourselves with design, models, designers and all the "it" people, and of course the “haute couture” fashion (High fashion design, or better said clothes which seem more like works of art than to be worn) and the “prêt-à-porter” (“ready-to-wear” collections).
Summer has just ended and the largest fasion brands like Chanel, Stella McCartney, Armani, Alexander Wang, Valentino and all the rest of the biggest names in fashion have just presented their new Spring Summer collection for 2016. One by one they have walked down the catwalks of the French World Capital of fasion. Oh-là-là!

And with so much fashion and design, we wanted to summarise for you everything we saw and inspired us.
Etnical, flowery and marine inspirations for the new collections.
It seems like for next Spring Summer 2016 we will expect the return of pinstripe, tie-dye, geometrical shapes and halter necklines but also oriental prints with large flowers, just have a look at the new collections of Andrew GN, Kenzo y Vivienne Westwood.
We're loving it!

Lots of romanticism, we see designs with laces and transparencies in Elie Saab's collection. Also in Alexander McQueen's designs and in the last Alexander Wang catwalk for Balenciaga, as after a 3 year relationship with the firm he says his goodbye with an entirely white collecion of midi lingerie dresses, the catwalk looked like a summer dream. Anyways, he wont be missed, as he will keep on desinging but now he will centre his attention to his own brand.

Also Valentino showed a surprising collection with a mix of gladiator style with dresses in black leather with golden ornaments, and African inspired designs in amazing earth tones.
And then there is the Alberta Ferretti collection, she might not sound as familiar to some of you, but nevertheless totaly worthl to have a look at her designs made in transparent chiffon using sandy and earthly tones, very feminine with a touch of sandy Sahara explorer.
